\nAbstract:<\/strong>
\nIn recent years there is a growing interest in the studies of logics for social networks. While most of such research is focusing on the information flow in networks, we attempt to make a tighter connection to the well-developed area of social network analysis. In this talk, we focus on one direction of our ideas, namely, bringing logical methods into the research of social balance theory so that we can have a better understanding of it. We have built logics to characterize when and how a network tends to evolve in accordance with social balance theory. We have also other research plans in this strand. All these will be explained in the talk.<\/p>\n
