Introduction:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Argumentation mining is an emerging research area focusing on the development of theories, methods and techniques for semi-automatic and automatic identification, formalization and evaluation of structured argumentation from unstructured natural language texts.<\/p>\n

This workshop aims to bring together some researchers who are working in the directions of logic, computer science, artificial intelligence and linguistics, and to discuss some possible work that we can do together in the future.<\/p>\n

The workshop welcomes talks dealing with, but not limited to, the following topics:
\n– Formal models of argumentation
\n– Defeasible logic and argumentation
\n– Epistemic logic and argumentation
\n– Theories related to knowledge representation and reasoning under uncertainty
\n– Argumentation schemes
\n– Theories and approaches for identifying argument elements
\n– Text and opinion mining
\n– Information retrieval
\n– computational linguistics<\/p>\n
