The 4th International Conference on Logic and Argumentation (CLAR 2021) invites contributions from logic, artificial intelligence, philosophy, computer science, linguistics, law, and other areas studying logic and formal argumentation.<\/p>\n

CLAR 2021 will be held in Hangzhou, 20-22 October 2021 at Zhejiang University City College. Due to the uncertainties of the epidemiological situation, the conference will be held in a HYBRID format (virtual and physical attendance both accepted), and we encourage physical participation if possible.<\/p>\n

Papers accepted to CLAR 2021 are published as Springer LNAI proceedings:<\/p>\n

CLAR 2021 special issue in the Journal of Logic and Computation \r\n\r\n\r\nAs we have announced during the CLAR 2021 conference, a special issue is planned in the Journal of Logic and Computation (JLC, see https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/logcom<\/a><\/span>) presenting selected papers from the CLAR 2021 conference. Authors of selected papers from the CLAR 2021 conference have been contacted and encouraged to submit an extended version of their work to this planned special issue of JLC. Submission Guidelines<\/h4>\n
We invite two types of submissions: full papers (12 – 20 pages) describing original and unpublished work and extended abstracts (5 – 8 pages) of preliminary original work or extended abstracts of already published work (needs to be highlighted along with the title), from either the field of logic or the field of formal argumentation. Additional support material may be included in an appendix, which may be considered or ignored by the program committee.<\/p>\n
Submissions must be prepared in LaTeX, using the Springer LNCS style:<\/p>\n

Submissions not complying with these guidelines will be desk rejected.<\/p>\n

Springer encourages authors to include their ORCIDs in their papers. In addition, the corresponding author of each paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of that paper, must complete and sign a Consent-to-Publish form. The corresponding author signing the copyright form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper. Once the files have been sent to Springer, changes relating to the authorship of the papers cannot be made.<\/p>\n
We encourage early registration of the title and abstract of your paper in easychair.<\/strong> Each submitted paper will be carefully peer-reviewed by a panel of PC members based on originality, significance, technical soundness, clarity of exposition and relevance for the conference. For each accepted paper, at least one author is expected to register and present the paper at the conference.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
